Chopard L.U.C All-in-One
If the name is anything to go by, the new L.U.C All-in-One is basically a culmination of all Chopard’s watchmaking knowhow in one single timepiece. The 14 indications on its two faces include extensive calendar and astronomical functions, as well as a tourbillon. The L.U.C All-in-One was previously launched in 2010 with the L.U.C Calibre 05.01-L that consists of 516 components and, even with all the complications that it offered, it still had an exceptional seven days of power reserve.
This year, this mechanical behemoth returns with two limited series cases: 10 in platinum and 10 in 18K rose gold. The platinum case is paired with a grey blue dial while the rose gold reference has a dial with subtle shades of verdigris. Best of all, both references are certified with the Poinçon de Genève, meaning it is certified by the Canton of Geneva that the watch meets the exacting standards of provenance, quality craftsmanship and reliability.
The L.U.C All-in-One demonstrates Chopard Co-President Karl-Friedrich Scheufele’s deep-felt attachment for an in-house, family-run approach to watch manufacturing that is certified, accurate and respectful of the most refined rules of craftsmanship.
