Inspired by the island’s bold and independent spirit, Swiss luxury watchmaker Hublot has introduced a timepiece that evokes the carefree charms of the island that compels one to live life to its fullest.
The Classic Fusion AeroFusion Chronograph Special Edition Ibiza features a sizeable 45mm case with matching bezel in a blue ceramic that evokes the tranquil colours of the Mediterranean sky and sea. Showcased on its intricate skeletonised dial in sky-blue is the seconds counter at 3 o’clock, designed to resemble the iconic peace symbol that was first introduced to the island by journeying hippies who came en masse to Ibiza in the 1960s. Located behind the skeleton dial are the inner workings of the Hublot HUB1155 automatic movement that comes equipped with a 42-hour power reserve. Limited to just 50 pieces, finishing touches include a ‘Hublot Loves Ibiza’ symbol engraved on the sapphire crystal located on the caseback.
