Ulysse Nardin Freak X
With a lower price point, smaller case size and a new, simplified version of the Freak Vision’s UN-250, Ulysse Nardin is pegging this model as the entry level option for Freak fans. It only appears slightly less freaky thanks to the inclusion of a conventional crown, but the time-indicating, carousel baguette movement and lack of dial that typify the collection are still present. The Freak X is available in several versions, but one reference has a carbonium case — a sustainable material used in the aeronautics industry, and a first in watchmaking.
