Parmigiani Fleurier
It’s all about the Kalpa collection for Parmigiani Fleurier at SIHH 2018. And as it celebrates its 20th anniversary, we look at the Kalpa Hebdomadaire. As a testament to the fact that the brand’s founder – Michel Parmigiani – was ahead of his time, the movement within this new watch is the very same Calibre PF110 that was designed two decades ago. The idea behind the Kalpa collection (known as Ionica back then) was that Parmigiani wanted to build a tonneau shaped watch with a tonneau shaped movement. And thus the PF110 was born. The new Kalpa Hebdomadaire features a slightly redesigned case with contemporary design codes, all while keeping the DNA of the collection intact.
