The new Clifton Baumatic is not just a movement made for the sake of getting out an in-house movement but rather represents a culmination of Richemont R&D. The movement, Calibre Baumatic, offers an exclusive silicon hairspring with Twinspir technology, a silicon escapement to match, and even an optimised single barrel with five days of power reserve. Best of all, the watch is Chronometer certified by the COSC and is anti-magnetic to a certain degree. To top it all off? A classic, crosshair dial.
