Celebrating two decades of its partnership with explorer Mike Horn, Panerai unveils a new timepiece in his honour. This time the watchmaker drops a new Submersible QuarantaQuattro Mike Horn Edition PAM01676 as a tribute to its long-time ambassador.

Time For Adventure
Sporting a bold and robust build, the new timepiece arrives with a 44mm brushed steel case. Matched with a blue vertical brushed dial – a recurring colour in previous Mike Horn timepieces – the timepiece features a unidirectional rotating steel bezel with a polished blue ceramic disk.
Ensuring a higher resistance to scratches, the bezel also rotates only counterclockwise, allowing for the calculation of immersion time. This is a crucial feature for a diving instrument. Additionally, its rubberised blue crown prioritizes functionality and durability, providing a superior grip, even in wet conditions.
The brushed finish of the case contrasts with the polished bezel and applied indices creating a play of lights underscoring Panerai’s Swiss watchmaking expertise. The closed case back is engraved with Mike Horn’s signature.
Large luminescent hour markers and hands for improved visibility make their mark on the dial. A small seconds sub-dial is positioned at 9 o’clock, distinguished by a yellow hand that stands out for easy reading.

At the heart of the PAM01676 is the automatic P.900, a caliber renowned for its reliability with a 3-day power reserve. Its balance wheel, oscillating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, is securely fixed in position by a balance cock. The caliber is equipped with a stop-second function that enables precise time setting.
Engineered for quests that go beyond limits, the watch boasts a water resistance up to 30 BAR (approximately) 300 metres. This timepiece has been rigorously tested, subjecting it to a pressure 25% greater than the guaranteed water resistance value to ensure it meets Panerai’s stringent standards.
