Louis Vuitton Showcases Formal Flair For Its Menswear Fall-Winter 2025 Collection

The house drops fresh takes on creative signatures as well as timeless business cuts.

For its new formal menswear pre-collection for Fall-Winter 2025, Louis Vuitton exemplifies its dynamic and technically advanced take on the art of tailoring. Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams takes the helm of this new wardrobe showcasing a fresh take on creative signatures and remarkable craft details.

As seen in the collection, timeless business cuts and evening wear for occasion dressing take precedence alongside a sportive stance on fine materiality. Classic tones from shimmering silvers, pops of periwinkle, pinstriped navy blues, and black or white monotones are further elevated to the highest of House standards.

The shapes comprising this decidedly classical line are accentuated and modified with Pharrell’s modern approach. This adds flare to trousers, sharpness to a double breast, reversible double-fronts to a padded gilet, allowing effortless staples to register a formal chord and vice versa.

Despite the formal nature, casual style is never compromised. For instance, a zip-front wool tweed tailored tracksuit and leather-accented knit wool blouson may be styled up or down for added versatility. With each reversal of expectations in terms of tailoring, a new balance between sport, office, and event is invoked. A style born on the athletic field is reinvented and worn casually or decorously—in this case, to impress.

Elevated Menswear

Louis Vuitton Fall-Winter 2025

The striking new capsule features impeccably tailored business attire and relaxed contemporary silhouettes to evening wear. Showcasing versatility, the sleeker suit jackets in Napolitana and Pont Neuf fits are joined by a new, straighter waist in the Gaston. Together, they form a strong and substantial profile.

The line’s evolving details are emphasised exquisitely, emboldening a new suiting concept. Crisp, virgin wool trousers in a cigarette style or with an adjustable drawstring waist pair well with jackets.  Updated popeline and Monogram silk shirting take looks from the everyday to elevated events.

Complementing the Louis Vuitton new Fall-Winter 2025 menswear collection are a series of enterprising luggage and leather goods. Redesigned and refined, they feature a squared-off, aluminium-reinforced rolling trunk that introduces an industrial edge to the business travel carrier.

The classic Weekender, Keepall 50, Mini Soft Trunk with chain link strap, and Sac Plat 24h are seen in bold monochromes, with subtle yet defined repeating Monograms. The LV Aerogram line, perfected for airport, in-flight, and office needs, sees the addition of a Fastline Backpack, a Pilot Tote, and a jacquard-logo nylon-strapped Keepall 50.

Accessorising Styles

Fine footwear that complements this collection is inspired by timeless and diverse evening ideas met with modern, evocative cobbling. Flex styles are also imagined in a refined taiga calf. The sharpness of Kensington Derbies and Loafers is accentuated with a mix of waxed and signature Epi leather.

A Major Loafer’s regal quality is apparent in a glazed calf, with a new LV initial buckle inspired by belts. The Bastille Derby and Combat Boot infuse the line with rugged elements.

Accessorising the collection is a wool and silk stole and a range of ties, bowties, and pocket squares in patterned silk. The collection is rounded off with leather and python belts, silver jewellery, ball stud earrings, cufflinks, and a polished tie clip. LV Confidence Sunglasses are reimagined in a new rectangular shape, in black with gold details or crystal grey and silver.

The Louis Vuitton New Formal men’s wear collection for Fall-Winter 2025 will be available in stores starting February 20th.
