The drum-shaped Louis Vuitton Tambour is over two decades old. Released in 2022, the model has undergone several updates over the course of its history. In 2023, Louis Vuitton refreshed its silhouette, giving it a slimmer profile as well as a matching integrated bracelet.
Stainless steel and precious-metal expressions were introduced into the line-up, further enhancing its appeal. Now, Louis Vuitton is expanding its collection with three new models including two high-end references as well as a ceramic model. All three epitomise the luxury brand’s credentials in high watchmaking and technical execution.
Sparkle And Shine

Tambour Platinum Rainbow
The two new gem-set expressions of the Tambour are presented in Platinum and Yellow Gold. The former arrives with gradiated sapphires and rubies whilst the latter features an onyx dial and sapphires.
The platinum edition exuded a brilliant silver-white lustre. Combined with the sparkle of its precious stones results in a stunning rainbow-coloured gradient. Limited to just 50 pieces, this spectacular new expression of the Tambour collection also sports a caseback inset with a 1.6mm saffron sapphire.

Tambour Yellow Gold Onyx
For the 40mm Tambour in solid 18K yellow gold, the onyx dial provides a brilliant contrast against the bezel set with saffron-coloured sapphires, and matching saffron sapphire indices. Its drum-shaped, circular-brushed case is beautifully contrasted by the brilliance of these baguette-cut precious stones.
An integrated bracelet with vertically-brushed and polished links and an invisible folding buckle ensure comfort on the wrist. Fluid and elegant yet sporty and robust, the Tambour’s bona fides render it ideal for a glamorous lifestyle of travel and leisure.
Ceramic Execution

Tambour Ceramic
Joining the family is a new interpretation in brown ceramic and rose gold. An embodiment of modern aesthetic and unmatched comfort, the model exudes outstanding finishes and a new micro-rotor movement designed by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton.
With the idea to always bring a new level of sophistication, this new interpretation of the Tambour elevates the art of ceramic. Although it retains the design and dimensions of the other time-only Tambour watches, this reinterpretation in ceramic and rose gold required a complete re-engineering of the model’s case and bracelet.

The timepiece is a very exclusive production.
The case’s sophisticated architecture now incorporates an internal gold core. Visible on the reverse side of the watch, the case back is also in gold, further highlighting its preciousness. Designed to protect the movement, this internal container is covered with the ceramic components.
Also crafted in ceramic, the drum-shaped crown is fluted and emblazoned with the LV signature. The sculptural lines are graced by exceptional finishes – the satin-finishing of each of the two ceramic covers requires meticulous handwork. The bezel is meticulously hand-polished and then sandblasted to highlight the 12 polished Louis Vuitton letters.
