Not all watches are created equal. While some are just functional, others are delectable to the eyes. One such timepiece is Jaeger-LeCoultre’s latest creation the Master Ultra Thin Perpetual Enamel Chestnut.
Enclosed in a 39mm white gold case with a thickness of 10.44mm, the new Master Ultra Thin Perpetual Enamel Chestnut is instantly charming with its hand -guilloched enamel dial. Generously sized for extra legibility, the meticulously hand-guillochéd dial is a tribute to precise craftsmanship and watchmaking tradition.
Not least are the four counters featured for optimal ergonomics, including a new display of the perpetual calendar at 12 o’clock. While the days of the week is set at 3 o’clock, the date counter is situated at its opposite. Adding to its astronomical feature is the moon display at 6 o’clock which allows the wearer to observe the moon’s waxing and waning phases simultaneously in both hemispheres.
Inside, the Master Ultra Thin Perpetual Enamel Chestnut is powered by an 868A/2 automatic calibre with a power reserve of 70 hours.
This unique piece will be joining the eighth edition of the biennial and charitable Only Watch event, which will start its promotional world tour in Monaco from September 25 to 28. It will later have other stops in the US, Asia and the Middle East. The event will come to a close in Geneva from November 7 to 9.
Whether it is to fund medical research or claim ownership to this one-and-only chef d’oeuvre, there is definitely a good cause to join the biennial charitable auction in the event’s final stop, Geneva in this coming November.
