Bell & Ross has just unveiled the BR03-92 Full Lum limited edition timepiece, which is only available to purchase in the form of ballots at selected Bell & Ross boutiques worldwide. In Malaysia, ballots can be registered at Bell & Ross boutiques in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, The Gardens and Gurney Plaza. The BR03-92 Full Lum is limited to 250 pieces.
Bell & Ross took the idea of ultimate readability and pushed it to the extreme with the Full Lum, creating a watch that is perfectly legible in the dark. In the light, the BR03-92 Full Lum is simple and functional, with clean lines and a classic black and white palette, that is clear and easy to read. In the dark, the watch face lights up thanks to the Super-Luminova C3 pigments on the watch’s face.
But it doesn’t just stop there, the signature rubber strap of Bell & Ross watches also lights up, transforming the otherwise white watch into a luminescent green-tinged machine. Super-Luminova C3 is the most intense, resistant and innovative variant of luminescent pigment from Super-Luminova, giving the BR03-92 Full Lum unparalleled brightness that is durable and ultra-phosphorescent. The pigment had to be specially mixed into the rubber before being moulded and pressed into the strap, making it the first luminescent rubber strap of its kind.
The BR03-92 is powered by the automatic calibre BR-CAL.302 and comes in a 42mm square case made of matte black ceramic. The glow-in-the-dark rubber strap is interchangeable for a black fabric strap, if you’re looking for something not quite as bright. The watch is water resistant to 100 metres, and comes with the standard anti-reflective sapphire crystal on the watch face.
Registration of ballots to buy the limited edition BR03-92 Full Lum opens today, November 15, worldwide and will close in one week’s time, at 5.59PM on November 22. The ballot draw will then take place at 6PM on the same day, where the winning ballot can then purchase their share of the 250 watches the very next day.
