CHOPARD
While eyes may light up watching the most unique and sublime films that are presented at the Cannes Film Festival, the same can be said for those adorning themselves with Chopard’s Red Carpet Collection of jewels. The glitterati crowd of actresses, film aficionados and the elite who found themselves in the lovely resort town of Cannes during the festival this year also celebrate the joyful 20-year relationship between Chopard and the Cannes Film Festival, with the maison releasing 71 uniquely creative pieces as an homage to the 71st year of the festival. Drawing inspiration from the travels of Caroline Scheufele, Co-President of Chopard, one of the more outstanding pieces from the collection provides us with a direct throwback to the 1920s with its fringe-like structure. The necklace is made with 18K white gold and carries a slew of pear-shaped diamonds, totalling 38 carats, as well as briolette-cut and brilliantcut coloured diamonds which lend to lengthening the fringe structure of the necklace.
