TAG Heuer Monaco Gulf Special Edition
There is a really great story to this Monaco, done to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Gulf Racing Stripes. As many will already know, TAG Heuer’s Monaco really became synonymous with Steve McQueen as it adorned his wrist during the shooting of the 1971 film Le Mans. Even in the film, the race car driver McQueen portrayed was actually sponsored by Gulf Oil thus bearing the iconic racing stripes on his overalls and even on the car that he drove. This new version comes in a 39mm stainless steel case and a navy blue dial to accompany the Gulf colours.
