Swiss Haute Horlogerie maison Audemars Piguet has announced its participation in Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026, taking place from 14 to 20 April. To mark the occasion, and in celebration of the brand’s 150th anniversary, the Manufacture will present an immersive exhibition alongside a series of city-wide activations designed to honour Switzerland’s watchmaking legacy and engage a broader audience.
At the heart of the brand’s presence will be a tribute to the historic établissage system—the collaborative production model on which Audemars Piguet was founded in 1875. Visitors to the exhibition will be invited on an interactive, educational journey through traditional techniques that have shaped the evolution of Haute Horlogerie and continue to inspire contemporary craftsmanship.
“Watches and Wonders is more than an exhibition – it is a space for meaningful exchange with our peers and a celebration of our shared heritage and craftsmanship,” states Ilaria Resta, Chief Executive Officer, Audemars Piguet. “We look forward to welcoming visitors to Audemars Piguet’s world as we shape the future of watchmaking together.”
Celebrating Craftsmanship And Collaboration
Since its inception, Audemars Piguet has championed the power of collaboration. In its earliest years, the brand worked through a network of independent artisans and workshops in the Vallée de Joux, each specialising in a different component of the timepiece. As the établisseur, Audemars Piguet coordinated these efforts—collecting, assembling, and hand-finishing the final creations.
While the model has evolved, the brand remains committed to this spirit of co-creation, continuing to support its partners, suppliers, and local talent. The upcoming exhibition in Geneva will honour both individual mastery and collective excellence, highlighting the enduring values of solidarity and shared craft that have long united the industry.
Expanding The Watchmaking Universe
Audemars Piguet’s involvement in Watches and Wonders 2026 reaffirms its commitment to opening up the world of watchmaking. Beyond Palexpo, the brand will participate in the event’s “In the City” programme with a series of public-facing activations, including a pop-up installation at the historic Pont de la Machine.
These experiences aim to make horology more accessible to all, encouraging deeper engagement with the craft and its cultural significance. As Audemars Piguet celebrates a landmark anniversary, it continues to look forward—inviting both seasoned collectors and new generations to discover and dream.
