4. Double Terminated
If a crystal were to have formed naturally with faceted ends on both sides, it would be referred to as “doubly terminated” or a “double terminated crystal.” The pointed ends of a crystal are called terminations, and one that has a double termination is a rare find as it indicates that the crystal formed via free-floating in pockets of clay rather than lying on the side of the stone. These crystals are in high demand and are valued at a higher price point as well.
