Wellness in Motion: Women Wellness Festival 2.0 Recap

Empowering women through mindful living.

Rooted in a three-pillar ethos and forged through a thirty-year friendship, the Women Wellness Festival 2.0 was conceived as a mission-driven movement, championing advocacy, intentional living, and the pursuit of holistic wellbeing. Its thematic narrative, Wellness in Motion, captures the evolving dimensions of mind, body, and soul, expanding the meaning of what it truly means to pay genuine attention to one’s health.

For many, the idea that health is wealth may sound familiar, almost foreboding in its righteousness. Yet its truth remains undeniable: prevention is always better than cure. Wellness, then, becomes a meticulous and deeply personal process, encompassing conscious nutrition, an active lifestyle, and a mindful reduction of preservative-laden foods.

A Day of Connection, Community and Empowerment

Across its three curated sessions throughout the day, the festival spotlighted mindfulness, inner peace, and physical wellbeing. Attendees enthusiastically immersed themselves in sunrise yoga, sound healing, breath-work, journaling, and expert-led workshops exploring self-awareness, longevity, and women’s empowerment.

A central highlight was the Founders Chat, where the festival’s architects reflected on friendship, balance, and the transformative power of community. For Diane Chia, co-founder and Executive Director of Millennia Village, the day marked a powerful milestone. “Our goal was to create a safe, inspiring space where women can learn, connect, and invest in themselves. Seeing this community show up for one another reminds us that when women support women, incredible things can happen.”

The sentiment of collective strength resonated strongly with Raja Jesrina Arshad, founder and CEO of PurelyB, who highlighted the profound energy that shaped the festival. “This festival surpassed all expectations, from the energy, to the turnout, to the depth of conversations happening across every session. Wellness is not just an individual journey; it is a collective experience.”

In the final retrospect, Sarah Lian, founder of Supparetreat — in the spirit of affirmation conveyed the very intention that set this movement in motion. “To witness women not only show up for themselves, but also each other, reminds us why we started this movement in the first place. I’m grateful to have contributed to a space that encourages community, healing and self-discovery.”

The Journalling Practice That Restores

Setting an intention is often the first step toward inner clarity. And while one might wonder who first conceptualised journaling, history points to a long lineage of thinkers from Marcus Aurelius to Leonardo da Vinci — who sought solace in the written word. These figures, who helped shape empires and eras, understood the necessity of pausing to untangle the knots of the mind.

Yet for many, the challenge remains: Where do I begin? Thoughts can feel unruly, overwhelming, even menacing.According to Heart-Centered Life Coach Joanne Wong, the answer is deceptively simple: “The journey requires you to start.”

Joanne, a devoted advocate of intentional writing, acknowledges that beginning can feel daunting. Decoding life’s larger questions often demands energy, courage, and vulnerability. But through reflective prompts and guided stillness, her journaling workshop invited participants to reconnect with their inner world, and allow the flow of spontaneity to spill onto the pages, turning intention into insight.

The Act of Inclusivity

Inclusivity took centre stage in more ways than one. And for the intimate apparel titan, Victoria’s Secret, the commitment to representation is no longer just a branding exercise but a cultural shift across the inclusivity prerogative. As the brand continues to broaden its visibility among Asian women, it underscores a crucial truth: confidence is not a privilege afforded to a select few; it is a ritual cultivated through acceptance, understanding, and care.

Additionally, in its role to broaden representation among Asian women, their affirmation presence emphasised that confidence should be the foremost ritual. By reframing “fit” as an inclusive, body-positive ethos, the brand seeks to create a space where every woman, across every age, feels seen, supported, and celebrated.

The message was clear: when women feel at home in their own bodies, empowerment follows.

The Subtle Science of Distraction

Corporate life often comes with hurried deadlines, late nights, and the all-too-familiar office pantry. Snacking becomes a ritual of survival rather than nourishment. The workshop #TurnThePackAround explored the hidden costs of unhealthy habitual snacking and introduced mindful alternatives that help professionals stay sustained and grounded throughout the workday.

Participants learned to look beyond convenience and into the art of intentional consumption — a small shift that can significantly reshape energy and focus.

The Makings of Natural Restoration

For Zetty Ahmad, Co-Founder and Chief of Operations at Boomchaz Kombucha, women’s wellness begins at the core: the gut. “It all comes from the gut — the food, lifestyle, and even the way we think,” she shared. “But to us, it’s not just about the product. It’s about every millilitre we pour, and every sip you drink. What we are pouring is kindness, while sharing goodness.”

Zetty’s philosophy embodies community care: a commitment to self-love, self-care, and the creation of inclusive spaces where every woman feels she belongs.

A Festival Powered by Purpose

Women Wellness Festival 2.0 was proudly powered by Shveta Labs and DeRUCCI, with partners BMW Millenium Welt, PARC, Satu Creative, Etika, Hammam Spa, and Aura Regenerative Wellness Clinic. Their support strengthened a shared mission: helping women journey toward intentional living, balance, and purpose.

The festival closed with “Just Stories” by Jasmine King — an emotional exchange of heartfelt experiences, affirming that wellness is not just a practice, but a shared path walked together.
