A bridal look is shaped by more than the gown. Jewellery can change its character too, whether through the softness of pearls, the movement of diamonds or a more sculptural silhouette. This came together at Wedding in the Garden, where Selberan partnered with Rizman Ruzaini as the official jewellery partner for the bridal showcase.
Held at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur, the showcase brought together Rizman Ruzaini’s couture and Selberan’s fine jewellery for a series of bridal looks. The event was part of the lead-up to KL Fashion Week 2026 and explored different ways jewellery can complement a gown without taking away from it.
A Bridal Showcase In Kuala Lumpur

Several celebrities, including Francissca James Luhong, Serena Lee, Chloe Lim, Scha Ellinea, Natasha Sass, Nadeera Zani and Alya Imann, modelled the looks throughout the showcase. Each pairing offered a different interpretation of bridal dressing, from understated pieces to more elaborate jewellery sets.
Among the pieces featured was the South Sea Pearl Set with Diamond Earrings. The combination of pearls and diamonds brings a softer quality to the bridal look, while the Daralis Diamond Dangling Earrings take a more elongated approach. Their movement adds another element to the silhouette, particularly when paired with more intricate gowns.
The Jubilee Necklace and Matching Earrings carries a different significance. Created to mark Selberan’s 50th anniversary, the necklace draws from an original design in the brand’s archive. Made in 18K yellow gold, it features 36 princess-cut pink sapphires and 14 princess-cut diamonds. The set brings a stronger sense of colour to the bridal look while connecting it to Selberan’s own history.
Different Stories In Jewellery

Elsewhere, the Persia Necklace draws from the motifs of 16th-century Persia, combining floral elements with more sculptural forms. The Ilona Necklace takes inspiration from architecture, using bold lines and structured forms to create a more contemporary silhouette.
For the collaboration, Selberan also created two new collections specifically for Wedding in the Garden. The first, Lien, takes the form of a diamond choker with a ribbon-like detail at the front. Its continuous form represents two lives coming together, giving the design a meaning that connects naturally with the occasion.
Aile, meanwhile, draws from the idea of flight. Its feather-like motifs extend across the diamond-set necklace and matching earrings, creating a lighter look. The collection reflects the idea of entering marriage while maintaining a sense of individuality and freedom.
Both Lien and Aile are available for pre-order in 18K yellow gold and 18K white gold, with customisation available according to individual preferences.
Bringing The Look Together

At Wedding in the Garden, the collaboration between Selberan and Rizman Ruzaini was ultimately about how two different forms of craftsmanship come together. The gown establishes the silhouette, while the jewellery adds the details that shape its final expression.
Rather than competing for attention, the two worked together to create different interpretations of the modern bridal look, showing how jewellery can become part of the story of a wedding day rather than simply an accessory to it.
