Everything To Know About Grand Prix Season Singapore 2025

A decade and a half of pulse, panache, and performance.

Every September, the thunder of Formula 1 engines fills Singapore, reverberating well beyond the Marina Bay Street Circuit, as the entire city energy pulses with an intoxicating mix of speed and celebration. The Grand Prix Season Singapore (GPSS) has, over 16 editions, grown into something greater than a motorsport festival — it has become a cultural marker of how the city embraces dynamism, creativity, and connection.

This year, the festival feels especially significant. As Singapore commemorates SG60, GPSS 2025 reflects the nation’s twin identity: a global city with cosmopolitan flair, and a homegrown hub that prizes local innovation. Running from 26 September to 5 October, the 10-day celebration is designed not only to complement the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines — Singapore Grand Prix, but also to show how lifestyle, art, and community can converge around one of the world’s most thrilling sporting spectacles.

A Canvas for Collaboration

The season welcomes 16 new programme partners, a signal of its expanding ecosystem. Local champions like New Bahru and Love, Bonito stand proudly alongside international heavyweights such as Moët & Chandon, Adidas, and Glenfiddich. Together, they reinforce a central narrative: that the essence of GPSS lies in collaboration, where luxury labels, independent creatives, and cultural tastemakers co-author experiences that are both entertaining and meaningful.

“More than ever, GPSS is a chance to show Singapore at its most vibrant,” reflects Lilian Chee, Director, Sports, Singapore Tourism Board. “We want the season to feel like a mirror of our city — spirited, diverse, and constantly evolving.”

Festivals as Mirrors of a City

Grand Prix Season Singapore beats beyond the circuit. Its rhythm flows into the city’s streets and stages, with each festival reflecting facets of variation that shapes Singapore’s character.

On Sentosa’s shores, Jam Off captures the region’s pop culture heartbeat. With megastars like Rain and Ekin Cheng sharing the stage with rising talents eager for their international breakthrough, the festival becomes more than a concert. It is a cultural bridge, affirming Singapore’s role as a stage where East meets West in spectacle and sound.

Over at Marina Central, the GrooveDriver Festival turns music into a statement. Exclusive debuts by Henry Moodie and GEMINI set the tone, while the addition of Electronic Night — a showcase of female DJs — signals a subtle yet powerful shift in an industry long dominated by men. Coupled with a vintage car boot fair and an esports tournament, the festival reflects modern life’s paradox: where nostalgia and digital futures coexist seamlessly.

At Clarke Quay, Hit the Apex reimagines nightlife as a convergence of culture. Live music, immersive gaming, and a glowing light art installation transform a familiar entertainment hub into a playground for creativity, highlighting Singapore’s talent for reinventing its own spaces with fresh energy.

And at Plaza Singapura, PERFORMA invites visitors to recalibrate. With fitness activations, sustainability workshops, and playful nods to racing culture, it shifts the spotlight to wellness and mindful living — a timely reminder that performance is not only about speed, but also resilience, balance, and intention.

More Than Lifestyle, A Philosophy

What makes GPSS compelling is not just its scale but its intent. With activations from Moët & Chandon’s hot-air balloon rides to Adidas’ collaboration with Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS, the experiences are about more than novelty. They reflect themes of elevation, endurance, and aspiration — the very qualities that racing itself celebrates.

Local creativity threads throughout: New Bahru’s Pit Stop puts the spotlight on Singapore’s design scene, while Love, Bonito turns fashion into play through reflex-testing installations. These gestures matter, as they highlight the importance of rooting global events in local stories.

A City That Performs on the World Stage

In its 16th year, GPSS is less about a single event and more about an evolving identity. It showcases Singapore’s reputable status as host of a world-class sport, and curator for ideas, artistry, and imagination.

For locals, it transforms familiar streets into stages of light, music, and shared artistry, whilst visitors uncover the Singaporean spirit that thrives behind the thrilling facade of Formula 1 – and perhaps that is the enduring appeal of GPSS: living with intent, joy, and connection.
