Jameson Irish Whiskey is bringing back its global music initiative, Jameson Distilled Sounds, with a vibrant showcase set to take over The Zhongshan Building on Saturday, 17 May 2025. The event marks the Southeast Asian celebration of Jameson’s latest limited-edition bottle, designed in collaboration with multi-Grammy Award winner and global Music Distiller, Anderson .Paak.
Running from 6pm till late, the open-invite event promises an eclectic mix of music, mixology, and culture. Featuring a genre-spanning lineup of 18 regional acts, the showcase will highlight Southeast Asia’s diverse soundscape, from indie and electronic to funk, soul, and deep house.
Ensemble Performances
At The Courtyard, guests can expect standout live performances from Malaysian indie-R&B favourite Talitha Tan, funk-infused energy from Saint Kylo, ambient electronica from Thailand’s NOTEP, and unique sounds from Su San, Daaliah, X.U, and Kent Lee, who adds a handpan twist to electronic beats.
As the night unfolds, the party moves up to the Kantata rooftop, where DJ sets by No One, Sheryn, Raven, Diorck, and B from Manipulated Mood Group will set the skyline dancing. Closing the rooftop stage are KL alt-scene veterans Chaseylain and Ribut 1059 of Twilight Actiongirl, delivering a nostalgic back-to-back set blending old-school flair with fresh beats.
Meanwhile, cocktail bar Triptyk offers a change of pace, where mixologists Angel Ji and Steve Foo craft Jameson cocktails inspired by the music, paired with sets from Viene, Vanns Ngo, and a surprise Hijack Session to keep the crowd moving.
Food will also take centre stage, with curated bites from Pixies & Vespers, Calle Taco, and Kantata, all created to complement Jameson’s signature serve — the Jameson, Ginger Ale & Lime. Guests can also swing by Poppy Records at the Zhongshan Annexe for a one-day-only promo: purchase a limited-edition bottle and receive a vinyl record of your choice.
Admission to Jameson Distilled Sounds is free with online registration. The first 200 guests to arrive before 8PM will receive a complimentary Jameson Ginger Ale & Lime to kick off the night.
