Music can create connections long before two teams decide to work together. For Dekmantel and Desa Potato Head Bali, years of visits, shared line-ups and exchanges between their communities have now led to a one-day collaboration in Seminyak. On 26 September 2026, Dekmantel Bali will bring its approach to electronic music to Southeast Asia for the first time.
The programme will move between daytime conversations and listening sessions before continuing into the night across Potato Head Beach Club and Klymax. The event will close with Avalon Emerson, who will make her Southeast Asian debut as part of the line-up.
Founded in Amsterdam in 2012, Dekmantel has become known for its focus on underground electronic music, alongside its record label and festival. The collaboration with Potato Head grew from a relationship that developed over time, with members of the Dekmantel team spending time in Bali while the Potato Head team travelled to Amsterdam for the festival.
From Amsterdam To Bali
The line-up brings together artists from Europe, the US, Japan and Indonesia, moving across house, techno, electronica and other forms of electronic music.
Avalon Emerson will close the night with her first show in Southeast Asia. Known for sets that move between house, techno, new wave, disco and deeper rave sounds, she will headline a programme that also includes Japan’s Soichi Terada, Dekmantel Soundsystem, Fafi Abdel Nour and Berlin-based Ogazón.
Soichi Terada will present his live show, bringing together elements of house, jungle and chiptune. Meanwhile, Dekmantel Soundsystem will see co-founder Casper van Tielrooij and Olf van Elden of Interstellar Funk return to the booth together.
The programme also brings in artists from the region, including Bali-based Danny Satria, Dita, Kiwed and Sattle. Archie and Bagvs will join for a B2B set that moves through deep house, minimal techno and spaced-out disco.
Beyond The Dancefloor

The collaboration begins during the day, with listening sessions, live Q&As and a Desa Dialogue. Rather than keeping the programme centred on performances, these sessions create space for conversations around music, culture and creativity.
The format also reflects the connection between the two teams. Potato Head Resident DJ Dita describes the collaboration as the result of years spent visiting each other, exchanging music and sharing spaces, while Dekmantel co-founder Casper van Tielrooij points to the artists who have played at each other’s festivals and venues over the years.
As the day moves into evening, the programme shifts towards the dancefloor. The event will take place across Potato Head Beach Club and Klymax, bringing the different parts of the collaboration together in one setting overlooking the Indian Ocean.
A Meeting Of Two Music Communities

For Potato Head, the event adds another international connection to Desa Potato Head’s wider approach to music and culture. The Bali creative village includes restaurants and bars, sculpture gardens, outdoor spaces, wellbeing facilities, a beach club and a Hi-Fi underground nightclub.
Dekmantel, meanwhile, has built its reputation around supporting both established and emerging artists within electronic music. Bringing the two together in Bali creates a programme that reflects both sides, combining international names with artists from Indonesia’s electronic music scene.
Dekmantel Bali takes place on 26 September 2026 at Desa Potato Head Bali. The one-day programme runs from daytime sessions through to the evening party, with Avalon Emerson, Dekmantel Soundsystem, Soichi Terada (Live), Fafi Abdel Nour, Ogazón, Danny Satria (Live), Archie, Bagvs, Dita, Kaazi, Kiwed and Sattle on the line-up.
