Malaysia’s longest-running amateur golf tournament, the Carlsberg Golf Classic (CGC) is back. And no surprise, the 32nd edition of the tournament returns with more excitement, bigger prizes, and a refreshed line-up of sponsors.
Set to offer a total prize pool of RM2.7 million, the CGC 2025 series will host 32 nationwide qualifying rounds culminating in a National Final at the award-winning West Course at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC) on 7 November.
When Is It On?
Spanning from June to October, this year’s CGC will see over 3,600 golfers competing at clubs across the country — including 16 in the Klang Valley, seven in the South, five in East Malaysia, and four in the North. Making a welcome return to the Southern leg is A’Famosa Golf Resort in Malacca, enhancing the tournament’s reach and diversity.
What’s Up For Grabs?
New to this year’s sponsor roster is Auto Bavaria (BMW), offering two BMW iX2 xDrive30 M Sport models as Hole-in-One prizes at the National Final. Returning partners adidas, TaylorMade, and Garmin continue to elevate the tournament experience.
Golfers can look forward to exclusive rewards including the adidas ‘Dress Like a PRO’ kit, TaylorMade’s Qi Diamana Blue Irons Set, and Garmin’s high-tech Approach R50 Golf Simulator.
