The renowned American whiskey brand recently hosted an exclusive tasting experience at KL’s Bar Trigona, showcasing its most celebrated expressions, including several rare and limited-edition releases.

This explorative journey into the heart of the brand was led by Ethan Chai, Michter’s Director of International Hospitality Coverage & Asia Pacific Sales Director, with the support of local distributor Wholly Spirits.

Its long-awaited landfall on local shores marked the Malaysian debut of three exceptional expressions – Shenk’s Homestead Sour Mash Whiskey 2023, Bomberger’s Declaration Bourbon 2023, and Michter’s Toasted Barrel Finish Rye.

These limited-edition releases were showcased alongside Michter’s acclaimed core range: the US★1 Small Batch Bourbon, US★1 Rye, US★1 Sour Mash, Unblended American Whiskey, and the sought-after 10 Year Kentucky Straight Rye – a rare single barrel release that has become a collector’s favourite.

Each expression tells a story through its flavour. The US★1 Bourbon offers a warm profile of caramel and vanilla, while the Rye features a lively blend of spice and citrus.
