To welcome the Year of the Snake, W Kuala Lumpur presents a new look for YEN and a refined menu. Under the guidance of Chef Tan Kim Weng, the restaurant offers a mix of contemporary flavours infused with traditional Chinese New Year fare. Available for lunch and dinner on 28 and 29 of January, YEN presents several Reunion Set Menus for two to larger parties. For a more elaborate feast, check out the property’s Great Room and its grand dining menu. The Yee Sang is also elevated with deep-fried home-grown abalone mushrooms paired with fresh fruits alongside staple and traditional options such as jelly fish and salmon.

From delicious high-teas to reunion buffets, Hotel Indigo Kuala Lumpur on the Park has crafted a number of festive offerings to bring joy, prosperity and togetherness in the new year. At The Silver Monkey, diners can indulge in a luxurious Reunion Buffet dinner from 6pm with a curated spread of traditional Chinese New Year dishes. The Westin Kuala Lumpur is gearing up to spread festive cheer with indulgent and prosperous Chinese New Year buffet menus for 2025. Hosted at The Living Room, the Hotel’s Chinese Chef de Cuisine, David Poh and his team will prepare an elaborate spread for the Eve of the Lunar New Year and for dinner on the first day of the Lunar festivities. Iconic restaurant Golden Phoenix makes its return to EQ starting 14 January. The acclaimed Chinese restaurant makes its appearance as a pop-up to serve signature Lunar New Year dishes. Guests can look forward to fan-favourite servings of signature yee sang, luxurious poon choy, and crispy Peking duck. Golden Phoenix will serve curated lunch and dinner menus throughout the duration. Additionally on 29 January, the first day of Chinese New Year and on Chap Goh Mei on 12 February, the award-winning Kwong Ngai Lion Dance troupe will perform at the hotel’s lobby at 9am and 5pm respectively.
