Avril Lavigne Enters The Wine World With A Rock’n’Roll Twist

‘Complicated’ Pinot Noir makes a stylish debut.

Avril Lavigne gets into the wine business with ‘Complicated’ Pinot Noir.

Avril Lavigne is the latest celebrity to step into the beverage world — and she’s doing it her way with her own wine. The global pop-punk icon has partnered with Banshee Wines for ‘Complicated’, a limited-edition, small-batch Pinot Noir inspired by her early 2000s breakout single of the same name.

Made in collaboration with Banshee Wines, one of the fastest-growing premium wine labels in the US, the wine brings Avril’s signature edge to the world of fine wine — with a nod to her rock’n’roll roots and creative evolution.

A Pour With Musical Influence

Following in the footsteps of celebrity ventures from Beyoncé and Margot Robbie, Lavigne’s debut wine release blends artistry and authenticity. But Complicated isn’t just a namesake — it’s a tribute to Lavigne’s legacy.

Crafted to reflect her unique spirit — confident, complex, and effortlessly cool — the Pinot Noir is light and velvety, with bright notes of cherry and raspberry.

This isn’t a wine for cellars. Banshee Wines’ latest collector’s pour is online-only and best uncorked, poured, and shared.

To mark the launch, Banshee is releasing just 50 exclusive “Sip and Spin” kits, each featuring a bespoke record player and a vinyl of Lavigne’s Let Go album, complete with her chart-topping single Complicated. A perfect pairing of sound and sip.

“This wine is for blasting music with your best friends, celebrating moments that matter, and just enjoying the now,” says Lavigne. “Life can be complicated — wine doesn’t have to be.”

Wine With Purpose

“The ‘Complicated’ collaboration fuses Avril’s unmistakable artistry and rock ‘n’ roll spirit with our winemaking craft, giving fans a new way to connect with her music,” explains Jason Daniel, Chief Marketing Officer of Foley Family Wine & Spirits (FFWS).

More than a celebrity collaboration, the partnership also gives back. Banshee will donate US$10,000 to She Is The Music, a non-profit dedicated to creating opportunities for women in music — a cause close to the musician’s heart.
