No doubt the world’s most famous Scotch whisky brand, Johnnie Walker has single-handedly put the spirit on the global map. A pioneer for Scotch, it has also pioneered luxury spirits in its own indomitable way. The launch of the Johnnie Walker Vault emphasises that notion.
Like its name suggests, the new space is a treasure trove of whiskies. At any given time, a selection of 500 rare and aged whiskies as well as ghost casks is housed within. Personally curated and rotated by Johnnie Walker Master Blender, Dr Emma Walker, the vault showcases the very best of the 10 million casks of Scotch available to her.
But it’s not just a space where exceptionally rare whiskies are kept and stored. Johnnie Walker Vault will also usher in a new era of unparalleled creativity and craftsmanship, all brought to life through rare products, experiences and collaborations.
Bespoke Experiences

Under a newly launched Private Blend experience, Dr Walker will personally create unique made-to-measure blends for a select few. She will hand-select meaningful expressions from the invite-only physical space, and craft these into deeply layered blends. Each blend is tailored to the inspirations and individual palates of her guests.
This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity doesn’t come cheap though. Although offered to the public, packages for the experience start from £50,000. However, the price of entry does come with a Michelin Star dining experience to a glamorous stay at the Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire.
The programme is tailored to individual desires – culminating in the bespoke blending session with Dr. Walker. Following the experience, guests will be presented with their Private Blend in a crystal decanter handcrafted by artisans from Baccarat. Their unique blend will also be chronicled in the Johnnie Walker Vault archive, leaving their own legacy alongside iconic whisky creations and allowing for future commissions.
Beyond crafting exceptionally rare blends, Johnnie Walker Vault will also invite its first creative partner within. On the cards is a programme featuring a visionary artist in couture fashion who will co-create a limited-edition collection with Dr. Walker. Further details for this will be revealed in Spring 2025.
