Salvador Dalí’s Argillet Collection Debuts in Singapore this October

Dalí’s masterpieces revealed.

This autumn, Singapore welcomes one of the most important private collections of works by Salvador Dalí. From 26 September to 26 October 2025, Bruno Gallery presents Dali Comes to Singapore, showcasing more than 100 original etchings and gouaches from The Argillet Collection.

Salvador Dali with Pierre Argillet

The month-long exhibition marks the first time this extraordinary body of work, developed through Dalí’s three-decade collaboration with publisher Pierre Argillet, will be seen in Singapore. Widely regarded as one of the most authentic representations of Dalí’s artistic vision outside major institutions, the collection highlights themes of mythology, literature, and dream imagery—areas where Dalí’s surrealist imagination flourished.

Visitors can expect to encounter copperplate etchings of remarkable detail, alongside vibrant gouaches that reinterpret classical texts through Dalí’s unmistakable lens. Together, the works reveal both technical mastery and the playful spontaneity that defined Dalí’s career during one of his most prolific periods.

Adding to the exhibition’s significance is the presence of Christine Argillet, daughter of Pierre Argillet and custodian of the collection. She will be in Singapore throughout the exhibition to share personal insights into Dalí’s creative process and his close friendship with her family. Her involvement offers audiences a rare opportunity to hear untold stories that contextualise the works on display.

“We present this collection to honour not only Dalí’s artistic innovations, but also the legacy of collaboration and friendship between my father and Dalí,” Christine Argillet said. “Each etching reveals something truly personal about the artist—his humour, his spontaneity, and his ability to bridge tradition and imagination. I am delighted to bring these stories and masterpieces to Singapore.”

The showcase also has a strong collector’s angle. All works are available for purchase, with etchings starting at SGD 8,800 and originals priced up to SGD 500,000. An official exhibition book will also be on sale for SGD 300.

Motti Abramovitz, CEO of Bruno Art Group, describes the exhibition as a milestone for the regional art scene. “Bringing the Argillet Collection to Singapore is an incredible achievement. With free entry, the opportunity to acquire original Dalí works, and the presence of Christine Argillet herself, this event is not just an exhibition but a celebration of surrealism and its enduring relevance.”

A Two-Part Showcase: From Tanglin to Sentosa, Dalí’s surrealism meets lifestyle experiences in Singapore.

In addition to the main exhibition at Bruno Gallery, a satellite showcase will take place at Capella Singapore from 26 September to 1 October. During this time, guests can enjoy free entry and Dalí-inspired cocktails at The Pineapple Room, blending art with a touch of lifestyle experience.
