Longchamp Art Festival Takes Place This September In The Heart of Paris’ Marais Quarter

The brand’s inaugural festival brings together international artists, live performances, and multidisciplinary creativity to the City of Light.

Longchamp is set to grow its long-existing bond with art by introducing the first-ever Longchamp Art Festival, a cultural festival that will be held in Paris from 4 to 6 September 2026. Established as a platform to witness art in different forms, this festival will pay homage to the company’s unchanging philosophy of being engaged in modern creativity, artistic conversation, and culture.

Held in the historic Marais district, the festival will transform the venue at 5 Rue Saint-Merri into a vibrant meeting point for artists, designers, performers, and visitors. Bringing together approximately 30 international artists, the event explores a shared theme of movement through visual arts, design, dance, music, digital art, and live performances.

A Legacy Rooted In Creativity

Founded in 1948, Longchamps has cultivated strong ties with the worlds of art and design. Beyond its renowned leather goods and fashion collections, the French Maison has consistently championed both established and emerging creatives through artistic collaborations, patronage initiatives, and cultural partnerships.

Over the years, Longchamp has also integrated works from its private collection into boutiques and its corporate headquarters, reinforcing its belief that art should be part of everyday life. More recently, the House has strengthened its cultural presence through collaborations with designers, participation in Milan Design Week and Kyotographie, as well as its 2025 tribute to abstract artist Geneviève Claisse.

A Celebration Of Art In Motion

The Longchamp Art Festival continues this creative journey through a multidisciplinary program conceived by Longchamp Creative Director Sophie Delafontaine in collaboration with Performing Arts Curator Olivier Bassuet. Rather than presenting a traditional exhibition, the festival encourages dialogue between different artistic disciplines, allowing ideas and perspectives to intersect through carefully curated installations and performances.

Centered on the theme of movement, the program spans visual arts, music, dance, performance, digital art, and interactive encounters. Together, these diverse expressions create a living celebration of creativity that invites visitors to discover art from multiple perspectives.

“The festival is true to the spirit of Longchamp and reflects how we approach creation: through curiosity, dialogue, and sharing,” says Sophie Delafontaine. “Our aim was to bring together, in the same place and at the same time, artists and forms of creativity we love in order to invite everyone to discover or rediscover a multiplicity of talents.”

A Gift To The City Of Paris

For Olivier Bassuet, the festival represents an opportunity to open Longchamp’s creative world to a wider audience.

“With the Longchamp Art Festival, the House is sharing one of its key inspirations: a sincere attachment to art, design, and creation,” he explains. “We want this festival to be a gift to the city of Paris, an invitation to discoveries, encounters, and shared experiences.”

Open to the public from the afternoon of 4 September through 6 September 2026, the festival offers free admission with prior registration. Hence, by bringing together international artists, creative experimentation, and meaningful encounters in one accessible space, the Longchamp Art Festival reflects the Maison’s vision of making art more open, engaging, and inclusive.
