The highly anticipated and most comprehensive retrospective of David Hockney’s body of work has finally opened at Tate Britain to high praise. Almost every piece from the living art legend–one of the most influential artists of the 20th century– is on display, including Mr and Mrs Clark and Percy, and A Bigger Splash, as well as his famed Yorkshire landscapes and swimming pool series. Beyond that, there are some recent never-before-seen artwork that explore new styles, even as the artist reaches his 80th birthday.
The David Hockney retrospective runs at Tate Britain until 29th May. For tickets, click http://www.tate.org.uk/whats-on/tate-britain/exhibition/david-hockney
