Starting February 2023, a ginormous exhibition held in cooperation with the Mauritshuis in Den Haag is displaying 28 exclusive Vermeer paintings, including his luminous masterpiece for the first time in its history.

Between 1984 and 1985, American artists Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol created around 160 paintings together. This April, their early collaborations – a series of portraits of Basquiat by Warhol and of Warhol by Basquiat, will be showcasing through all of the galleries in the Fondation Louis Vuitton, featuring masterpieces such as the monumental sculpture Ten Punching Bags (Last Supper) or the African Mask.

The show will be the most important exhibition ever dedicated to this extraordinary body of work and will bring together more than three hundred works and documents jointly signed by the two artists. Furthermore, it featured individual works by other major artists, to evoke the energy of the New York downtown art scene of the 1980s.
