It goes without saying that 2015 has been a tumultuous year for horology. The dawn of the smartwatch is nigh, the Swiss Franc hit a record high in January, and luxury market hotspots appear to be cooling around the world. Despite the tenuous outlook, Swiss horologers remained undeterred as they showed up at Baselworld in grand fashion to display this year’s novelties.
