Champagne has long been associated with formal occasions, carefully chilled bottles and the familiar ritual of pouring a glass to mark a special moment. Moët & Chandon, however, has taken a different approach with Ice Impérial, an expression created specifically to be enjoyed over ice. Now, the champagne house returns to this distinctive ritual with Pharrell Williams, whose latest collaboration introduces a fresh design perspective to two of its emblematic cuvées.
Continuing a creative partnership established in 2025, the collaboration centres on simplicity, allowing the champagne and the experience of drinking it to take precedence over elaborate presentation. The collection brings together the redesigned Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial and Ice Impérial, extending Pharrell’s visual approach to a range that has challenged conventional ideas of champagne service.
A New Perspective On An Established Classic

The redesigned Brut Impérial bottles appear in Midnight Blue, Gold and Deep Red, bringing a more restrained visual identity to the Maison’s familiar cuvée. This year also sees Ice Impérial join the collection in a new presentation, notably without its signature white sleeve for the first time in the Maison’s history.
The decision reflects Pharrell’s preference for stripping back unnecessary detail. Rather than treating the bottle as the sole focus, the design places greater emphasis on the champagne itself and the occasions surrounding it.

“I keep coming back to simplicity. Strip it back to what matters. The bottle is simpler. The message is simpler. It’s about summer, community, and enjoying champagne your way — so the experience comes first,” Pharrell Williams says.
The result is a collaboration that brings together contemporary creative direction and one of champagne’s most recognisable names, without losing sight of the product at its centre.
Champagne, Served Differently

Introduced in 2011, Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial was developed around a less conventional serving ritual: champagne poured over ice in a large wine glass. The expression combines Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay, with a profile characterised by tropical fruit notes, freshness and a crisp finish. The Maison recommends serving it over three ice cubes.
For cellar master Benoît Gouez, the cuvée represents the house’s willingness to explore new ways of enjoying champagne while retaining its winemaking heritage. Its fruit-forward character and intended service distinguish it from the more traditional experience associated with Brut Impérial.

The distinction is central to the collaboration. While the bottle design introduces a contemporary visual language, Ice Impérial continues to offer an alternative to established champagne rituals, particularly for relaxed outdoor gatherings and warm-weather occasions.
Available at selected specialist retailers across Kuala Lumpur, Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial by Pharrell Williams brings together design and drinks culture in a collaboration that looks beyond the bottle to reconsider how champagne is presented and enjoyed.
