Soaring To New Heights: How VistaJet Is Elevating Private Aviation In Asia

Crystal Wong, President — Asia Pacific at Vista, outlines the company’s focus on bringing next-level private flight experiences to the region.

In the fast-growing private aviation market of Asia, VistaJet continues to lead with innovation, luxury, and flexibility. The company’s recent delivery of the Global 7500 — its newest and largest aircraft — reflects both the changing demands of high-net-worth clients and VistaJet’s commitment to redefining private flight experiences across the region.

Currently, VistaJet operates a fleet of around 270 aircraft worldwide, including 18 Global 7500 jets. Crystal Wong describes the aircraft as “a home away from home or an office in the sky.” With a maximum flight time of 17 hours, the Global 7500 allows direct connectivity from Asia to Europe, North America, and even long-haul flights to Africa.

Its highly configurable cabin can transform from a conference room to a bedroom, or an office to a lounge, accommodating the diverse needs of corporate executives, families, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.

“For many of our clients, it’s about both functionality and comfort,” Wong explains. “Families and executives can configure the cabin to suit long-haul journeys, making the aircraft feel like either a home or a working environment while they travel.”

HIGH-FLYING EXPANSION

Malaysia has been a key market for VistaJet since its early expansion into Asia. “People here know and trust our brand,” says Wong. “The Global 7500 offers an exciting upgrade for clients who started on smaller jets, such as the Challenger 350, and now require larger aircraft to accommodate their families or business needs.”

Convenience remains a major differentiator for VistaJet in the region. Direct flights from East Malaysia to destinations such as Singapore and Hong Kong allow corporate clients to conduct same-day business trips, saving valuable time.

“Initially, clients were drawn to the convenience,” Wong opines. “But over time they come to appreciate the personalised experience we provide. Some fliers who switched from commercial airlines admit that going back is almost impossible because of the comfort, reliability, and consistency of private travel.”

Beyond transportation, VistaJet has diversified into bespoke travel experiences, wellness programmes, and family-oriented initiatives. The VistaPets programme caters to passengers travelling with pets, while curated itineraries offer exclusive access to art, sport, and cultural events worldwide. “We look at our clients’ preferences and continuously create campaigns that add value to their journey,” Wong says.

Digital innovation is also at the forefront of VistaJet’s strategy. Its XO marketplace provides real-time access to over 2,000 aircraft globally. Through the XO app, passengers can book flights instantly with transparent pricing, offering flexibility for those who may not require a full subscription but still want the benefits of private travel. “XO allows clients to enjoy the simplicity and flexibility of private aviation at their fingertips,” Wong explains.

VistaJet’s growth in Asia has been remarkable. In the first half of 2025, the company recorded a 26% year-on-year increase in Program membership across Asia Pacific, driven by strong demand in Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, and Kuala Lumpur. Japan achieved the fastest growth globally at 67%, followed by Singapore at 50%. XO bookings surged nearly 40% internationally, reflecting rising interest in on-demand, flexible private aviation solutions.

The expansion plans for 2026 demonstrate VistaJet’s confidence in Asia’s evolving aviation landscape. Cities like Hong Kong and Singapore are established commercial hubs as well as popular leisure destinations. This has fed into the ongoing trend of ‘bleisure travel’, particularly among high-net-worth entrepreneurs and executives who often travel with their families.

A NEW APPROACH

VistaJet continues to offer the unique experience of private jet ownership without the complexities or costs. Its fleet of silver and red aircraft guarantees safety, comfort, and seamless service year-round. The Global 7500, as the flagship of the fleet, offers four separate living spaces, including a permanent bedroom, combining business functionality with family-friendly luxury.

To further expand the aviation experience, VistaJet has partnered with renowned German aesthetics expert Dr. Barbara Sturm, bringing high-performance wellness to 40,000 feet. Cabin Hosts receive expert training to provide customised facial treatments, ensuring that passengers can maintain their wellness routines while flying.

“These partnerships and collaborations are part of our commitment to enhancing the guest experience,” states Wong. With both VistaJet and XO now operating across Asia, the company offers clients “the best of both worlds” — global access to VistaJet’s iconic fleet, the flexibility of XO’s on-demand booking, and the added allure of bespoke lifestyle experiences.

By combining international reach with regional agility, VistaJet is redefining private aviation in Asia, creating a seamless journey where luxury, convenience, and personalised service come together in perfect harmony.
