TAG Heuer Unveils Connected Calibre E5 x Formula 1 Ahead Of The New Season

A connected timepiece built for the Grand Prix generation.

Weeks away from the official start of the 2026 Formula One season and TAG Heuer is already off the racing line to put fans in the mood. The Swiss luxury watchmaker has unveiled the Connected Calibre E5 45mm x Formula 1, a high-performance smartwatch that brings the intensity of race weekends directly to the wrist.

Engineered for motorsport aficionados and collectors, this titanium timepiece integrates TAG Heuer’s heritage in precision timing with next-generation connected technology. The watch features a brushed and sandblasted Grade 2 titanium case with black DLC coating, a curved touchscreen bezel showing every phase of a Grand Prix weekend, and integrated pushers with red lacquer accents.

Showing its racing credentials, the watch’s caseback bears the Formula 1 logo, while two strap options — a carbon-patterned leather-and-rubber hybrid and a flexible textile sports strap — cater to both style and performance.

TAG Heuer is also putting race fans in the thick of the action, literally. At the core of the collector experience is the Race Track watch face. The digital dial adapts to each Grand Prix, displaying the host country flag, circuit outline, and a moving dot to mark seconds.

Over 24 rounds, the watch automatically updates with unique designs, providing a season-long companion for true F1 enthusiasts.

The onboard Formula 1 app delivers real-time schedules, results, and standings, complemented by smart widgets, animated bezel markings, and race-inspired notifications that mimic pit-wall communications. Beyond the world of F1, the Calibre E5 platform offers wellness tracking, heart-rate monitoring, and dual-band GPS, making it a versatile daily companion.

The TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E5 45mm x Formula 1 goes on 48-hour early access online starting 3 March, offering collectors and fans a first chance to own the ultimate trackside smartwatch.
