This November, Regent Phu Quoc invites guests to step into a world where dining transcends the plate with the latest edition of its acclaimed Taste Studio pop-up: A Spectrum of Contrasts. The immersive event combines art, dance, music, and Vietnamese culture to create a multi-sensory journey that is as much about performance and storytelling as it is about gastronomy.
With only 32 guests per night, Taste Studio: A Spectrum of Contrasts offers an intimate, highly curated experience. Each evening begins with a welcome cocktail and continues through a carefully choreographed sequence of courses, performances, and visual installations, culminating in a grand finale where guests meet the chefs and artists behind the evening.
This fourth annual Taste Studio promises to be an extraordinary fusion of gastronomy, art, and culture, reaffirming Regent Phu Quoc as a leading destination for immersive, multi-sensory luxury dining. Here’s what’s on the program.
Celebrating Art And Cuisine

A Spectrum of Contrasts explores dualities—light and dark, mountain and sea, hot and cold, day and night—reflecting the harmonious balance that lies at the heart of Vietnamese culture. Each act is designed to evoke contemplation while celebrating the vibrant essence of Phu Quoc Island, where the interplay of opposites shapes not only the landscape but also the traditions, history, and daily life of its people.
Guests are invited to move through the experience as participants rather than observers, becoming part of a narrative that blurs the lines between cuisine, performance, and visual art. At the heart of the evening is the culinary programme led by executive chef Francesco Andreoni, whose global experience spans Milan, Paris, Chicago, Melbourne, and Switzerland.

Duyen Nguyen.
Together with executive sous chef Huan Tran, executive pastry chef Duyen Nguyen, and Oku chef de cuisine Andy Huynh, the team brings a sophisticated approach to Vietnamese ingredients and flavours, presenting each course as a work of art.
Sensorial Exploration

Chef Andreoni’s philosophy focuses on high-quality local produce, balanced flavours, and visual storytelling, while Huan Tran brings depth with regional Vietnamese techniques, Duyen Nguyen infuses French pastry mastery with artistry, and Andy Huynh merges land and sea inspirations with creativity drawn from travel and contemporary design.
The artistic vision of the evening is elevated by AC3 Studio, the Paris-based multi-disciplinary atelier renowned for creating immersive experiences for luxury brands. Using video mapping, kinetic lighting, motion design, and interactive installations, AC3 Studio transforms spaces into visual spectacles that amplify the dialogue between performance and cuisine.
Performance In Paradise

Limebócx.
Choreographer Sabra Johnson, winner of So You Think You Can Dance Season 3, brings her dynamic international experience and passion for storytelling through movement, blending Jazz, Vaudeville, and contemporary forms to create performances that are both captivating and emotive.
Vietnamese Trúc Chỉ artists Phan Hải Bằng and Ngô Đình Bảo Vi elevate natural materials such as bamboo, sugarcane, and banana leaves into luminous paper artworks that celebrate the contrasts of light and shadow.

Ngo Thi Thanh.
Finally, the Hanoi-based music trio Limebócx blends traditional northern Vietnamese sounds, such as Ca Trù, with electronic loops and harmonies, adding a modern musical layer that complements the evening’s evolving narrative.
Taste Studio: A Spectrum of Contrasts takes place from 28-30 November exclusively at Regent Phu Quoc.
