Rado’s New Centrix Diamonds Elevate Everyday Elegance

A refined and elevated horological execution.

Rado expands its Centrix collection with two new timepieces that capture the essence of quiet luxury. The Centrix Diamonds models highlight the brand’s mastery of materials, pairing refined elegance with subtle gemstone brilliance.

Detailed Craftsmanship

Encircling each 35mm case are 60 full-cut Top Wesselton diamonds, precisely set around the bezel—one for each minute. A further 11 diamonds serve as indexes on the dial, bringing the total to 71 natural gemstones. With VS–SI clarity and exceptional brilliance, the diamonds offer an elevated sense of craftsmanship without straying into excess.

The dials are crafted from mother-of-pearl in two elegant colourways: a rich brown or a luminous light silver. Each pairs with a rose gold-toned case, crown, and hands. The bracelet features high-tech ceramic centre links—polished brown for the darker dial, or plasma-finished for the silver variant. The ceramic elements, for which Rado has become renowned, are lightweight, scratch-resistant, and offer a uniquely tactile experience as they adjust to the wearer’s body temperature.

Heart Of The Matter

Inside, the Centrix Diamonds houses the Rado calibre R763 automatic movement. It offers an 80-hour power reserve and a Nivachron™ antimagnetic hairspring, underscoring Rado’s technical precision. A sapphire case back reveals the movement, while a domed front crystal enhances clarity.

Compact yet refined, the watch impresses through detail rather than size. A discreet date window sits at 6 o’clock beneath “Jubilé,” a mark reserved for Rado’s diamond-set models.

In these latest Centrix iterations, Rado demonstrates its ability to walk the line between jewellery and timekeeping—where form, function, and fine materials come together in a truly modern expression of luxury.
