Korean Air Unveils Luxurious New Lounge At Incheon International Airport

Passengers can look forward to enhanced dining, wellness zones, and garden views.

Korean Air has unveiled a new chapter in luxury travel with the launch of its newly refurbished lounge project at Incheon International Airport. The new lounges offer passengers an elevated pre-flight experience that blends contemporary sophistication with traditional Korean elegance.

The airline has completed the first phase of its ambitious lounge renewal project, revealing the fully redesigned Miler Club and Prestige Lounge East. Additionally, two brand-new Prestige Garden Lounges – East and West – have opened at opposite ends of the terminal, coinciding with the airport’s recent Phase 4 expansion.

A Gourmet Experience

The revamped lounges aim to redefine airport hospitality, with standout features including open “Live Stations” where chefs from the Grand Hyatt Incheon prepare dishes on-site. The menu offers a rotating seasonal selection of Wester and Korean cuisine.

Premium beverages are also on offer, with dedicated bartenders crafting cocktails and in-house baristas brewing fresh coffee in the Miler Club. Far more than just a place to dine, the new lounges have been designed as multifunctional spaces, accommodating both relaxation and productivity.

Amenities include hotel-style lobbies, tranquil wellness zones with massage chairs, tech-friendly work areas, private meeting rooms with large-format screens, and premium shower facilities equipped with personal powder rooms.

Modern Korean Aesthetics

The layout divides the lounges into distinct zones, allowing passengers to tailor their stay – whether they prefer a full meal, a quiet corner for reading, or a space to catch up on work. Reflecting Korean Air’s commitment to cultural sophistication, the interiors blend traditional Hanok-inspired architectural elements with contemporary materials like marble, metal, and premium wood.

The colour palette – a refined mix of gold, charcoal, black and ivory – mirrors the airline’s premium cabin design and evokes a sense of understated luxury. The spaces were conceptualised in collaboration with a globally renowned interior design studio, whose portfolio includes the Four Seasons Seoul and several five-star hotels across the Asia Pacific region.

Elevating Air Travel

Complementing the main lounges are the newly introduced Prestige Garden East and West Lounges, each offering a quieter retreat with garden views – one rooted in traditional Korean landscaping, the other inspired by modern Western design.

These latest additions are just the beginning. The final phase of renovations – including the First Class Lounge, the other half of Prestige Lounge East, and Prestige Lounge West – is set for completion in 2026. During this time, First Class passengers will temporarily access the Miler Club.

Once the full transformation is complete, Korean Air’s total lounge footprint at Incheon will expand from 5,105 to 12,270 square metres, with seating capacity increasing from 898 to 1,566. The expansion is part of the airline’s wider infrastructure strategy in preparation for its merger with Asiana Airlines.
