Lewis Hamilton Unveils Almave Humo, The New Mezcal-inspired Beverage

Lewis Hamilton’s new project is… smoky?

Lewis Hamilton lanches the new Almave Humo

Lewis Hamilton is shifting gears again — this time with Almave Humo, a bold, non-alcoholic mezcal alternative. It’s his latest collaboration with Casa Lumbre Spirits and master distiller Iván Saldaña, and it brings the unmistakable depth of mezcal into a zero-proof bottle.

Mezcal, Minus the Alcohol

Almave Humo

Humo follows the success of Almave’s Ámbar and Blanco expressions. This time, the focus is on mezcal’s signature smokiness. Made from Espadín agave grown in Puebla, Mexico, Humo is roasted in underground pits over volcanic stones and blended with local well water. The result? Layers of smoke, minerality, and earth — without a single drop of alcohol.

Hamilton shared his excitement, saying, “I’m proud of what we’ve achieved with this latest innovation. I think Almave drinkers will really enjoy the unique, smoky taste of Almave Humo.” Saldaña calls it a natural evolution, crafted for drinkers who want the ritual and richness of mezcal while staying alcohol-free.

Part of a Bigger Mission

Hamilton entered the non-alcoholic space to prioritise clarity, wellness, and mindful living. Partnering with Casa Lumbre allows him to stay rooted in authenticity, working directly with Mexican agave farmers and traditional methods. Since debuting in 2023, the Almave line has grown fast, with Pernod Ricard taking a minority stake in 2024 to fuel global expansion.

Almave Humo proves that zero-proof can still deliver full-flavour drama. It’s smoky, complex, and made for those who want to sip with style — no compromise, no hangover.
