The third edition of Pangkor Laut Resort’s Opera in Paradise is set to return this 10th to 12th October. Titled, Arias by the Sea, the event is set to host world-class opera talents on the idyllic private island.
Returning once again is Maestro Andrea Griminelli, the Grammy-winning protégé of the late Luciano Pavarotti who once performed on the island and claimed it “a paradise.”

This year, Griminelli will conduct an ensemble featuring Laura Wright, the golden-voiced British mezzo-soprano; Clarissa Spata, Australia’s rising soprano star; and Gaetano Bonfante, the powerhouse tenor whose voice carries the emotional depth of Italy’s greatest masters.
The event will be held at an open-air venue amid the breathtaking natural amphitheatre, where soaring arias harmonise with the sounds of nature of a 2-million-year-old rainforest.
