Cartier Champions Global Women Entrepreneurs With 2025 Impact Awards

Since its inception the program empowers women entrepreneurs to drive positive change.

Cartier 2025 Impact Awards

For nearly two decades, Cartier has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to women’s empowerment through its flagship program, the Cartier Women’s Initiative (CWI)—a global entrepreneurship initiative uplifting women-led businesses that drive positive change. The program’s commitment to supporting its community of fellows is reflected through the Cartier 2025 Impact Awards.

Launched in 2006, the CWI was created to address gender disparities in entrepreneurship, from limited access to funding and networks to systemic biases. Now in its 18th year, the program has evolved into a comprehensive platform offering financial, social, and human capital to women impact entrepreneurs worldwide.

Global Reach, Local Impact

Cartier 2025 Impact Awards

To date, the initiative has supported 330 entrepreneurs across 66 countries, distributing over US$12.2 million USD in grant funding. Backed by a global community of over 500 members, the program continues to provide fellows with media exposure, executive coaching, leadership training, and a lifelong network of support.

Each year, the program awards 10 fellowships—nine based on geographic regions and one “Science & Technology Pioneer Award” recognising breakthrough innovations. First, second, and third-place fellows receive funding, along with access to the year-long fellowship.

Celebrating Long-Term Impact

New this year, the Cartier 2025 Impact Awards spotlight former fellows who have sustained and scaled their ventures. Nine awardees—selected through rigorous due diligence and aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals—will be honoured on May 22, 2025, during the World Expo in Osaka.

These awardees represent three categories: Improving Lives, Preserving the Planet, and Creating Opportunities. Each will receive monetary grants and join a specialised Impact Fellowship, designed to strengthen their metrics, leadership, and productivity.

Looking Ahead

Cartier has also announced the launch of the 2026 edition, with applications open from April 18 to June 24, 2025.  The 2026 edition will include nine Regional Awards and a total of 30 fellows, representing the top 3 business for each of the 10 awards will be selected. The program will culminate in an Awards Ceremony in Thailand in 2026.

By fostering a diverse, inclusive, and impact-driven ecosystem, Cartier continues to champion the power of women to drive meaningful, lasting change—proving that when women thrive, communities and economies thrive with them.
