TAG Heuer Reimagines The Carrera Day-Date For A New Era

The classic timepiece gets a welcome dose of modernity.

Carrera Day-Date Collection

TAG Heuer has unveiled the 2025 reimagining of its iconic Carrera Day-Date, a timepiece that seamlessly blends its rich motor racing heritage with cutting-edge design and modern innovation. With six stunning new models, this launch represents the next chapter in the Carrera’s legacy of precision, performance, and timeless style.

Introduced in 1963, the TAG Heuer Carrera was born out of Jack Heuer’s passion for motorsport and was inspired by the legendary Carrera Panamericana Road race in Mexico. The model has long been associated with success on the track, worn by some of the most celebrated drivers in history, including Mario Andretti, Niki Lauda, and Max Verstappen. Over the decades, it has become synonymous with triumph, precision, and a touch of fortune, earning the title of a “Success Watch.”

A New Era Of Modernity

The new TAG Heuer Carrera Day-Date collection builds on this storied legacy, introducing a series of elegant, high-performance timepieces for a new generation. With six distinct models, the collection offers something for every style, from bold colours to understated sophistication.

Whether you’re drawn to the sunray-brushed blue dial, the smokey red opaline, or the sleek black opaline, each watch brings its own unique personality while staying true to the Carrera’s timeless DNA. Notable models include the black grained dial with a red lacquered hand, adding a contemporary twist to the collection.

The standout model of the collection – the Carrera Date Twin-Time – features a striking teal sunray-brushed dial, evoking the colours of classic motorsport liveries. The red-tipped GMT hand is a subtle homage to TAG Heuer’s heritage and adds functionality for global travellers.

Powered by the TH31-02 and TH31-03 manufacture movements, exclusive to TAG Heuer, these watches deliver an impressive 80-hour power reserve and come with a five-year warranty. The innovative three-dimensional dial design improves legibility and enhances the overall aesthetic of the watch.

TAG Heuer has also upgraded the bracelet and strap of the Carrera Day-Date. The steel bracelet now features a quick-change link system, allowing wearers to effortlessly adjust the fit without tools. Additionally, the leather straps include subtle design touches, such as light blue linings, adding a fresh visual signature.
