Janu Tokyo’s Afternoon Tea with Art.
Janu Tokyo is celebrating its first anniversary and its doing so with a creative twist. This March, the visionary hotel unveils a creative collaboration with leading contemporary artist Tomokazu Matsuyama.
From 15 March, guests will get to experience the disciplines of gastronomy and art in an innovative way. Coinciding with the artist’s first solo exhibition in Tokyo at Azabudai Hills Gallery, the partnership introduces Afternoon Tea with Art.

Matsuyama’s exhibition takes place at the Azabudai Hills Gallery.
Inspired by Matsuyama’s latest series ‘FIRST LAST’, the afternoon tea will encompass sweet and savoury treats. Served at the Janu Lounge & Garden Terrace, each piece of the afternoon tea will be embellished with intricate, symbolistic imagery drawn from works of the exhibition.
Bringing this delectable and artistic creations to life is Janu Tokyo Pastry Chef, Yukie Noguchi. As part of the joint venture, guests will also receive complimentary tickets to Matsuyama’s exhibition during their stay. They will also gain the exclusive opportunity to purchase one of 30 limited-edition prints of his new work, Nice Quiet Hot Tears, at Janu Tokyo’s boutique.
