BMW Motorrad Malaysia has launched the latest editions of the New BMW R 1250 R and New BMW R 1250 RS, two sports tourers that deliver the ultimate sporty, dynamic touring experience. Equipped with advanced features and innovations, the models are designed to provide greater roadster pleasure, with superior handling and enhanced safety.
Pushing Boundaries with Technological Advancements
The new objects of desire are designed to complement the dynamic nature of sports tourers with features that are specifically created for dynamic riding. Equipped with BMW Integral ABS Pro and Dynamic Brake Control, the braking system offers more safety, even when leaning into bends. The bikes also come with Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) as standard, ensuring excellent traction and a high level of riding safety. Additionally, Riding Modes Pro provides individually configurable riding modes, each with various functionalities.
Unmatched Expertise in Sports Touring
At the heart of the New Motorcycles is the air/liquid-cooled two-cylinder four-stroke boxer engine. The BMW ShiftCam technology allows for varying valve timing and valve lift on the intake side, resulting in an engine that delivers power smoothly across the entire speed range. The bikes are also equipped with a TFT colour display for connectivity and navigation, and customised screen displays can be selected for different purposes.
Completing the Equipment List
The New models come with the Comfort, Touring, and Dynamic packages included as standard. The Comfort package includes Keyless Ride, design option silencer, chrome-plated header pipe, heated grips and tyre pressure control. The Touring package includes preparation for GPS device, cruise control, main stand and case holders on the left and right. The Dynamic Package includes safety and performance features, such as the Dynamic ESA and Shift Assistant Pro.
Sport and Triple Black Model Variants in BMW R 1250 R and BMW R 1250 RS
The New motorcycles are available in Sport and Triple Black model variants, each with unique body colours. The Sport variant of the New BMW R 1250 R is available in Racingblue, while its Triple Black variant is available in Blackstorm. Meanwhile, the Sport variant of the New BMW R 1250 RS is available in Lightwhite, Racingblue and Racingred, while its Triple Black variant is available in Blackstorm.
