Lucia Silvestri is walking proof that a woman can indeed have it all. The exceptionally talented Jewellery Creative Director for Bulgari was recently awarded the Gem Award for Jewellery Design during the 15th Annual GEM Awards held in New York.
“One of my greatest challenges is to remain true to Bulgari’s identity and design signature, constantly reinterpreting the esthetic codes for women that are never the same. Having worked with the Italian luxury brand since the age of eighteen, Silvestri spends much of her time scouring the globe in search for the most precious and beautiful gems that will ultimately come to life at the Bulgari jewellery manufacturing studio.
According to Silvestri, each high jewellery masterpiece can take anywhere from three months to over year to complete, which includes these bedazzling delights from the iconic Serpenti collection that were revealed back in 2016.
