TAG Heuer marks its ongoing partnership in F1 with Aston Martin Red Bull Racing with a recently unveiled special edition timepiece that celebrates their shared passion for action and fearless ambition to outpace all challenges. The watch, conceived in close collaboration with the four-time consecutive F1 drivers and constructors’ champion, commemorates a triumphant alliance in motor racing that goes back to 2016. This is the second time that TAG Heuer has created a timepiece to celebrate the partnership with Aston Martin Red Bull Racing.
The 43mm chronograph is youthful, sporty and easy to read in all conditions, and takes inspiration from the new Aston Martin Red Bull Racing F1 car that was presented in Barcelona earlier this year. The blue of the car is found on the watch’s dial and aluminium fixed bezel. The chronograph seconds hand is coated in the eye-catching Red Bull yellow, while touches of Red Bull red are prominent on the tachymeter scale. An azurage pattern on the chronograph counters and a date window at 4 o’clock on the dial enhance the daring and sporty aesthetic of this model.
The steel screw-down case is engraved with the Aston Martin Red Bull Racing team logo over a chequered pattern. The quartz-powered chronograph is presented on a robust stainless steel bracelet which includes a driver’s extension to fit the watch over a racing suit. Water resistant to 200m and highly shock resistant, the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Aston Martin Red Bull Racing Special Edition has endured more than 60 quality control tests.
