03 AUDEMARS PIGUET ROYAL OAK PERPETUAL CALENDAR ONLY WATCH

Based on the Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Black Ceramic revealed at this year’s SIHH, this sublime timepiece displays a variety of enticing colours that evoke the image of a sun setting beyond the horizon. The dial is presented in an alluring shade of skylight-blue, which brings out the finer details of the manufacture’s signature Grand Tapisserie pattern that was first conceived by legendary watch designer, Gerald Genta. Additional pops of colour include polished counters in solid grey gold and a photorealistic orange moon displayed on the astronomical moonphase indicator at 6 o’clock. Holding everything in place is the distinctive Royal Oak case in black ceramic, which has been paired with a matching ceramic bezel and bracelet. finishing touches include the signature ‘moon’ tip blued steel hands, which gracefully sweep across the roman numerals, as well as the secret signature etched at 12 o’clock that only reveals itself when examined in oblique light.
