One of Malaysia’s foremost contemporary ceramic artists, Umibaizurah Mahir @ Ismail explores the human condition within the layers and depths of modern society. Umi, as the artist is popularly known, reflects on topics like community living, emigration and the constant collision between people and their surrounding environment. Twelve thought-provoking installations have been readied for opening night as well as sculptural work, mixed media collages as well as paintings. Prices are set between MYR9,500 to MYR39,000. Fragile marks the artist’s third solo exhibition.
