Dom Pérignon Vintage 2009

The Vintage 2009 comes as the end product of a prodigious, sunny, bold and generous decade. It is made with ripest and richest fruit, grapes in their prime, thus promising the wine’s freshness and energy. According to Pierre-Louis Araud, Brand Ambassador of Dom Pérignon “The singularity of 2009 is a step closer to achieving the ideal Dom Pérignon harmony. There is tension, reciprocity: the more vintage there is in Dom Pérignon, the more Dom Pérignon there is in the vintage. The vintage 2009 is exotic, its mouth feel is the most surprising, and the fleshy depth of flavor and impressive aromatic persistence are unique. We needed the experience of every past vintage to find the courage to produce 2009, to dare to create a maturity that sets a new standard.”

Tasting notes:

Nose – guava, spicy green grapefruit zest, white peach and nectarine, complimented by woody vanilla and warm, lightly toasted brioche.

Palate – majestic ripe, fleshy and profound fruit. Voluptuous and rich with a strong impression of consistency. Silky, salty, sappy, bitter and briny – converge and persist.
