British luxury marque Jaguar sets the pace on the streets of London with its first electric vehicle, the Jaguar I-PACE. Good things come to those who wait, as the vehicle was revealed in late 2017 and take to the roads in the second half of 2018. Set to deliver agility, ride comfort and refinement in a sporty machine, it’s said to stand out from the electric vehicle car as a true Jaguar and a true driver’s car.

Not a creature to be caged, the I-PACE will be a long-distance sprinter that holds the ability to accelerate up to 60m/h in about four seconds, boasting a range of more than 500km from the 90kWh lithium-ion battery. During respite, charging proves to be uncomplicated and just as speedy, with 80 per cent charge achieved in a mere 90 minutes using 50Kw DC charging. The front and rear axles are fitted with compact and lightweight electric motors that generate a combined output of 400PS and 700Nm of torque, with the all-weather benefits of all-wheel drive.
