Airbus and Pagani Collaborate To Bring private travel to new heights

Superfly

At the European Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition held in Geneva in May 2017, one thing was abundantly clear with Airbus Corporate Jets – taking flight is about style and substance. Partnering the Italian hypercar manufacturer, Atelier Pagani Automobili, the ACJ319neo gets a snazzy new cabin design, felicitously named Infinito. This boundless name is inspired by the ceiling that displays live views of the sky above the aircraft, or any other image that brings forth a sense of freedom in the cabin.

The futuristic design is based on the Pagani philosophy where art and science come together in perfect harmony. Nature is represented through curves that form a pathway through the cabin and the shell-shaped valances and walls between zones – including one between lounge and conference areas, which switches from opaque to transparent at the touch of a button. The Pagani spirit is certainly present as sculpted metal features are fitted throughout the cabin, along with natural soft-leather carpets and a wooden floor contrasting with manmade carbon fibre in furniture and wallframes. The Pagani hypercar signature material of CarboTitanium also makes an appearance for the first time in an aircraft, so it really does feel like you’re getting the fantastic hypercar experience up in the air.
