Chopard Unveils Some Of The Stunning Haute Joaillerie pieces in 2018 Red Carpet Collection

Just recently unveiled in time for Fall/Winter of 2018-2019 Couture Week, Chopard’s latest 2018 Red Carpet Collection offers 71 stunning pieces of Haute Joaillerie to coincide with the number of editions of the Cannes Film Festival.

Perhaps what makes the collection all the more intriguing is the fact that all the pieces were imagined by the Maison’s co-president, creative director and creative soul, Caroline Scheufele. As Scheufele travels the world to all the places where the creations from the family Maison are presented, she jots down and sketches anything that inspires her in her travel journals. Architecture, art, literature or cinema shape the most exceptional precious stones into even more exceptional pieces of Haute Joaillerie.

So without further ado, here are just some of the pieces showcased in this year’s Red Carpet Collection:

Necklace in 18ct white gold and titanium composed of ruby beads (440cts), featuring a pear-shaped Spessartine garnet of 16.7cts and set with a round-shaped Spessartine garnet (7.1cts), brilliant-cut diamonds (8.7cts), pear-shaped yellow chrysoberyls (7cts), fancy-cut pink sapphires (5.9cts), Spessartite garnets (3.2cts) and yellow sapphires.
