Presenting Versace, The Book

Donatella Versace will debut Versace, The Book, in a series of launches in London, New York and Milan.

Versace, the book, makes its debut in a series of launches presented by Donatella Versace in New York, London and Milan. The sister of the designer who kickstarted the Versace empire, Gianni Versace, has been helming the fashion house since her brother’s untimely death in 1997. With the book, she will highlight some of her best work with Versace, seeing the fashion maison into the 21st century as both its curator and face. The book will showcase archived images including photography by the likes of Richard Avedon, Steven Meisel and Mario Testino. Also featured are Versace collections modeled by the original “supers” including Christy Turlington, Naomi Campbell, and Linda Evangelista.

Presentation moderators will include industry notables, some of whom have contributed to the book, such as Tim Blanks, Maria Luisa Frisa and Simone Marchetti. Members of the public as well as fashion students from the world’s best will have the rare opportunity to engage with Donatella herself.
